oh man, I didn't know they still had baby alive! I had her when i was little! Well it would have to be something that wouldn't rot. I would try something like baking soda and water with yellow food coloring. That way it doesn't turn into dough, and wont make her smell.

I had one of those 20 years ago. You can do what my mom did. She flat out told me that the food packs were too expensive and that she wasn’t going to buy any more. I got by just fine only giving my doll water.

I don't know about the food, but you can put food coloring in water to make juice for Baby Alive. Use different colors for different "juices," cherry, grape, lime, orange, etc. You can call them smoothies, or shakes, and give them funny names. This is what my sister in law does for my 3 1/2 year old niece, and she loves the colored juices
