A niche market business storefront that opened late last month in Stroud Township has blossomed in the months leading up to the opening into an international shipper through the efforts of owner entrepreneur Joann Cartiglia.
In a time of tightening budgets, Cartiglia has flourished with The Queen's Treasures selling accessories for 18-inch dolls — clothing, furniture and kitchenware that she designs and has manufactured. Many are scaled to fit the elite designer doll line American Girl, which sells similar items at much higher cost. The latest products in an expanded line include a doll-sized Tiki-themed smoothie stand and a chef's set as well as adult and children's delicate Battenberg lace-themed tea sets.
