For high school rodeo fans, this year’s South Dakota High School State Finals Rodeo, which kicks off in Belle Fourche on Wednesday, promises one thing for certain: lots of familiar faces. Most of last year’s event winners will be back to defend their 2010 titles.
“It’s impressive with all the returning champions we have coming back,” said Doug Doll, the president of the South Dakota High School Rodeo Association. “And the nice thing with having all of that experience is that we should be able to put together an even stronger team than usual for the national finals this year.

Before you worry about props, you want to be looking at camera bodies, lenses, lighting & light modifiers I would've thought...
newborns aren't likely to really go anywhere, so props wouldn't be much use...
try to be more classy than cheesy... parents want to see their children in a more cute (but not cutesy) pose...
if you can, shoot the parents with the baby... especially the dad... that gets you more interest...
